Sponsored by the Pennsylvania Association of Career and Technical Administrators in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Department of Education
Program
Quality career and technical education is an essential part of America’s workforce development system. The challenges of assuring a high quality system which meets the needs of students and employers are many. This conference will focus on providing career and technical education leaders with the information and skills to help them meet those challenges. In addition to outstanding general session speakers, participants will be able to choose from a variety of small group sessions. An additional resource available to conference participants will be a commercial exhibit area.

6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Opening Barbecue/Picnic
July 31, 2008
8 a.m. - 9 a.m. Registration, Continental Breakfast
9 a.m. - noon General Session
Noon - 1 p.m. Luncheon
1 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Small Group Workshops
A commercial exhibit area will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
August 1, 2008
8 a.m. - 9 a.m. Continental Breakfast and PACTA General Membership Meeting
9 a.m. - Noon Closing General Session
Date and Location
Career and Technical Education: Leadership for Success is being held July 30-August 1 at the Nittany Lion Inn in State College. Registration for the conference will begin at 11 a.m. on July 30. The first conference session will begin on July 30 at 1:30 p.m. A pre-conference golf tournament will also be held on July 30 beginning at 7:30 a.m. The conference will conclude on August 1 at Noon.
